MCB Bank Limited is a Pakistani commercial bank based in Lahore, Punjab. The bank operates a huge network of 1,551 branches throughout Pakistan. The major shareholders are Pakistan's Nishat Group and Malaysia's May Bank.
The Bank was founded to provide banking services to the South Asian business sector. Adam G Group added it on July 9, 1947. Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto's regime nationalized the bank in 1974. This was the initial bank that was privatized in 1991. The Bank was purchased by a collection of Pakistani corporations led by the Nishat collection. In June 2008, Nishat Group owned the majority of the bank. The President of this Bank is Shoaib Mumtaz.
