Cantonment General Hospital Jobs 2024

A little dispensary on Hospital Road in the Rawalpindi cantonment opened for business in 1901. The dispensary was founded to give these people access to medical care without requiring them to travel into the city, and it was first housed in the former barracks of British servicemen. The drugstore was transformed into a hospital known for its maternity services.

 

The dispensary was converted into a 20-bed hospital after the 1947 partition. In 1989, Raja Shahid Zafar, a former federal minister, donated land for the construction of a new structure, which marked the continuation of its expansion. As a result, the hospital was able to run 80 beds in a single shift.

The refurbishment of the hospital was allocated Rs560 million by the federal government in 2018. The hospital can accommodate 500 beds after the remodeling project is finished.
