It was renamed the Pakistan Armed Services Board following India's Partition, and it divided into the Bangladesh Armed Services Board upon Bangladesh's independence in 1971. From 28 District Armed Services Boards (DASBs) in 1947 to 63 DASBs now, the Board has grown.
