Duties:

The purpose of this direct hire public notice is to collect applications for potential selection.

At the very least, as an IT Specialist/Inspector (INFOSEC), you will:

Undertake systemic planning, development, implementation, maintenance, and process enhancement activities to guarantee the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the Department of State's systems, networks, and information.

Examine and evaluate information technology (IT) concepts, procedures, and security measures to safeguard and uphold the accessibility, accuracy, confidentiality, and responsibility of information system assets.

Provide guidance on IT security guidelines and practices to guarantee data security.

Performs risk analysis, security evaluations, and confirms compliance with federal IT regulations, standards, and guidelines.

Required Credentials:
